Common typologies

What a typology is

A typology is an established pattern of financial crime. Knowing the common typologies allows you to review a set of transactions, form a hypothesis about what may be happening, and test it against the facts.

For each typology, consider three questions: who is moving the funds, who benefits, and what the pattern is designed to conceal.
